On completion of a Portfolio of Evidence the delegates portfolio will be assessed. When the criteria laid down in the (for example A1) standards are met, the delegate will be registered through an Awarding Body ( for example OPITO) for their Assessor Qualification.

  • Allow delegates to understand the key requirements and components of a Competence Management System and to realize their part, as an Assessor, within this process of competence assurance
  • Teach a range of assessment methods
  • Give the delegates the required skills and knowledge to enable them to produce assessment plans, conduct progress reviews and assessments carried out in their place of work and to provide verbal and written feedback of the competence of the person assessed, with reference to set standards

The delegate is to compile a Portfolio of Evidence which will be assessed and on successful completion, the delegate will receive his Assessor Qualification.
