TRACK is the Tripod questionnaire-based tool that guides investigators during an accident investigation. TRACK stands for Tripod Accident Causation Kit and is a scientifically proven method developed by the University of Leiden (NL), a leading institution in the field of safety research.
SIM
The SIM incident analysis method was developed to meet the need for a SIMPLE method to investigate the causation of incidents with a potential of slight injury or damage only.
Tripod Beta
The Tripod method facilitates the investigation and analysis of operational disturbances in order to prevent their recurrence. The strength of the Tripod Beta method lies in the identification of the underlying causes in the organization that contributed to the operational disturbance, instead of focusing on just the immediate causes.
