Barrier Based Risk Management Network Event: Save the date!

On September 24 & 25, 2012 a ‘Network Event’ will be organised by CGE Risk Management Solutions. AdviSafe is actively involved with the set-up of the program and is supporting this event as one of the sponsors.

The objective of this event is to promote barrier based thinking with respect to risk management, in all industries that deal with risks in their primary process. This event:

  • Will be aimed to share knowledge (methodologies and practical expertise) and contacts as much as possible. The set-up and the various program components are aimed at this.
  • Is meant for a number of industries (Oil & Gas, Energy, Maritime, Mining and Natural Resources, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Aviation, Transport, Financials, Commercials Businesses, Government & National Institutions, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, IT, Engineering & Construction, Consulting, Telecom & Utilities.)
  • Has a strong social/personal component. It’s not only sharing vision, content, best practices & knowledge and connecting people. There will also a relational and ‘fun’- factor.

In short: it will be a multi-partner event, for a diversified target group (different levels of contact – different industries – different topics). The common denominator is: a barrier based approach to risk management. The event will be:

  • Held in 2 days, because of the many topics and the fact that the target group is international and is expected to only come over a multi-day event – in combination with a training afterwards. Participants can choose what parts of the program they would like to visit.
  • Organised in a central located venue, because of the international character.
  • Theme driven.
  • Aimed to share knowledge and interaction as much as possible.
  • To be attractive to the target group.

Following the 2–day network event, there will be a 3-day Tripod training and a 3-day BowTie training organised.

On September 26 and 27 the IADC (Internal Association of Drilling Contractors) conference will be held in Amsterdam.
